Our political systems were designed to keep certain people out. But if Texans have the information they need to make informed decisions and get involved, we know they’ll step up to the plate.
We’re reaching out to engage Texans by asking, ‘What don’t you know about politics and civics?’ and providing information to help them make informed decisions.
We’ll have answers to questions like:
- Why doesn’t the state offer unbiased voter guides for elections?
- Literally, what is the electoral college and how does the popular vote matter?
- What is an electorate, and how does it change?
We don’t know everything about Texas civics and politics, but together we can find out. Tell us what you want to know about the political process and we’ll do our best to answer it, because an informed electorate is the best kind of electorate.
