Sign our petition to demand that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) release detained immigrants and test them for COVID19 in a timely manner.
COVID 19 is affecting immigrants inside detention centers where they do not have access to face masks, sanitation supplies, and are unable to abide by social distancing guidelines set by the CDC. Immigrants in these facilities run a risk of being infected and left untreated.In Texas, there are 28 detention facilities and processing centers and 4 Enforcement and Removal Offices (field offices)
We believe all who live in Texas, regardless of immigration status, should have access to a safe, healthy and dignified life.
